The Pacific Coast Archaeological Society produces two publications, the PCAS Newsletter and the Pacific Coast Archaeological Society Quarterly.
The PCAS Newsletter is a monthly publication that keeps members and subscribers informed about current PCAS activities, such as the speakers for the monthly meetings, field trips, and summaries of the board meetings. The PCAS Newsletter also reports other lectures and activities of interest to members.
Submissions to the newsletter should be submitted to the editor. Lengthy articles may be shortened at the editor's discretion. The editor also reserves the right to hold articles for publication at a later date as space permits. Submissions must be made by the third Monday of the month in order to be considered for the following month. Please send submissions to the newsletter editor Sherri Gust: Newsletter@pcas.org or Cogstone Resource Management, Inc., 1801 Parkcourt Place D200, Santa Ana, CA, 92701.
Recent issues of the PCAS Newsletter are posted online. You can download PDF versions of newsletters and view them with Adobe Acrobat Reader. However, the print command is disabled for these electronic copies. You can subscribe to the newsletter for $18 per calendar year.
Pacific Coast Archaeological Society Quarterly
The Pacific Coast Archaeological Society Quarterly received the 2005 Governor's Award for Historic Preservation.
The Pacific Coast Archaeological Society Quarterly is published our times a year. The PCAS Quarterly is produced by a committee of volunteers. Articles are reviewed by PCAS members and outside jurors before they are published.
The PCAS publishes a guide for submissions, called the Information for Authors. The Information for Authors can be viewed online. Please address submissions and other correspondence concerning the PCAS Quarterly to: Publications@pcas.org
